Introducing my MIST FPGA: Pictures!

Hi all,

It’s long overdue, so here’s a few pictures of my MIST FPGA setup. It’s hooked up in a corner in the living room (the retro corner) together with a VCR (VHS). If I’m not watching Duck Tales VHS films on it with my daughter, I like playing Nitro, Moonstone and other Amiga games. 😉 It’s worth mentioning that I bought it from Amigastore in Spain, which is a shop I recommend for new Amiga stuff. Anyway, here goes!

    • Hi Nick! Cool that you too remember it. 🙂 It’s a fun racer for sure, especially considering all the in-game bonuses and upgrades. You can even play as “Cyber Clint Eastwood” and “Cyber James Bond”. 😀 I also enjoy driving the night-levels. Have you tried it in two-player mode?

      • I had forgotten about the cyber characters that were meant to be Bond and Clint! And the other guy was a cyber Rambo!

I used to play this one in two-player with my brother. I don’t remember getting too far in it though – typical Psygnosis difficulty level, and I recall you had to grab cash and gasoline as you went, otherwise you would run out in later levels.
