Hi folks,

A lot of people have tried to get Napalm: The Crimson Crisis, which is an old-school Amiga RTS, to work properly under Amiga OS 4.x. I remember struggling to get it functioning on my SAM440EP, but I had to throw in the towel. The game just wouldn’t work, no matter how hard I tried.

The good news is that we don’t have to worry about this anymore, as Alfkil Wennermark has released a patch that makes this classic game compatible with machines running AmigaOS 4.x. Isn’t that great? 🙂

The patch is available for download at OS4Depot: Patch for Napalm (AOS4)

Napalm is, as mentioned earlier, a classic RTS for the Amiga. It was released in 1999, came on a CD, and featured some pretty impressive graphics for its time. I found a review of the game on YouTube that lasts for about eight minutes. It was made by a guy calling himself The4mula. You can find it below:

Any AmigaOS 4.x users out there going to play this game? 😀
